Various sources in the press and development team state that Sony is looking to take Rockstar "under their wings". While we learned that any agreement Sony and Take-Two entered into would not affect the upcoming Grand Theft Auto IV... Such an agreement would presumably affect any future releases from Rockstar, including the new franchise Sony has been discussing and L.A. Noire, which looks likely to be a PS3 exclusive at this point as well. |

If this is true, then Sony should at least let them be the way they usually. If they do some ***** like rebrand it Sony-Rockstar and cut away all the risks and gambles, it will become *****.

are a mixed bag. Gears looked wonderful(although glitchy, maybe my xbox is dying I dunno) but Resistance wasn't the let down that most people said Perfect Dark was. Not many people liked Kameo. And there was that online FPS that released a little bit ago that I personally have not played, but got pretty ass reviews. I'll give them a point for Crackdown, because even though I found it really derivative, lots of other people liked it. Microsoft, in the end, hasn't really made many gems. But the system itself has a great library.

Sony is looking to completely buy out Rockstar making them a full fledge first party publisher voiding the idea of the money being a bribe. This is different than what Microsoft has done in which is bribing a 3rd party publisher, not making it a 1st party publisher, into making exclusive content for the 360. This is how publishers become 1st party.

if i had to buy a system based on 1st party software i'd buy a nintendo,then an xbox and last a playstation.
look at the psp,they sold 20 million of them and have 2 games that sold a million copies.
sony does know how to make good deals.
mostly ones that contradict thier stance on issues like "no rpgs in america" and look what final fantasy did for them. "no 2d games,everything must be 3d" and look how well the handheld industry did.
the blu-ray has more storage gimmick is about the same as saying the nintendo 64 carts have no loading time.

I think the open environment of the second level was great but the gray walled corridors were the majority of the game and all other levels kept you on a fixed track. Halo 2 was even more set on a track but they finally had online, although Socom was already eating up all my bandwidth for over a year before MS got their online act together. Anyway, Forza looks like trash next to GT hd. So beat it fanboys
