Swine Flu - Image 1

Swine flu strikes again. The threat posed by the H1N1 virus has resulted in Square Enix and Koei cutting the number of their staff attending this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo.

According to a report from Develop, Square Enix has canceled the E3 attendance of its Kingdom Hearts team. Meanwhile, an unspecified number of Koei's Japanese staff have pulled out of the event. Both companies' US- and Europe-based staff, however, will still be in attendance.

Sony and Nintendo, however, revealed that the Swine Flu will not be affecting the number of their respective Japanese retinues.

I live in California and I am surrounded by a bunch of swine zombies....

Joking!
Too bad they are getting scared over it. It is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I don't know a single person who has had it and I don't know anyone who knows anyone who has had it. I think these game makers just play too many games and think of it as a real "T Virus" or something. Oh well, there are many other developers that will show us attention with some great products.
