We are embarking on a new paradigm in the gaming industry fuelled by advances in computer hardware, network speeds and the want of gamers to have more freedom. We network the power of their main PC so it can be used to play high end games on other PCs and laptops around the home. I believe the demand for high resolutions will drive the sales of high end PC hardware |

INSANE!!!
I tried but idk how to actually add a game so that you can play it. I tried but it didnt work
Starting an article with "Imagine being able to..." is something that you would be beaten with a stick for if you take journalism courses. What were you thinking?
So I am confused. Is it that you use the ps3's processing power to run a amazing looking game, say crisis for instance, on a computer that has very week abilities. Help me out here. If this is true im playing Crisis on launch!!
i think it requires your pc to be strong enough to run the game. I think your pc would be running the game and if someone was in your room they would be abel to see it on the monitor if you were playing it on your ps3 from downstairs or in a different building etc. So i think it requires a good pc but im not 100% though.
Right now you have to install a client on each PC that is using this.
One PC has the game, which it is able to run...the client that you install takes pictures of the action that is happening at that moment, along with audio...
It sends the picture/audio to the PC that can't run the game, but can view a simple picture....then the client on the lower end PC captures Keyboard commands....sends those to the higher end PC, which feeds them into the game...takes a picture of the video/sound and sends them to the lower end PC...repeat...
Right now a linux/PS3 client is in the works and it can only be run on a PC at the moment...
Also, this will never work on 360...
So you get to play a game you don't own as if it's on your own PC, only with horrible lag because it's really somewhere on the internet?
SIGN ME UP!!!
hell yea, a free laggy game is even better than one that cost a lot with no lag!
yea right.. rather buy the game. But if im running short on cash, this sounds kool.
if i set it up over LAN, then it would still be cool to play MMOs on a big screen
