Big John - Image 1 Electronic Arts' MMA may not be getting anything from the UFC, but EA Sports managed to sign Strikeforce into their stable as a premier league, bringing a few familiar names into the game.

Among those names will be the commentary tag-teag of Frank Shamrock and Mauro Ranallo, plus Ring announcer Jimmy Lennon Jr. In charge of the action inside the cage will be none other than Big John McCarthy. Also set to appear in the game as playable fighters are Strikeforce stars Jason Miller and Muhammed Lawal.

"We are very excited to be working with STRIKEFORCE and feature them as a premier league in our game," said Dale Jackson, the game's executive producer. "They have a wealth of mixed martial arts expertise, put on great shows and have a great stable of top-notch fighters. Together we look forward to growing the sport and delivering an immersive interactive gaming experience."

EA Sports MMA is coming to the PS3 and Xbox 360 scheduled for a 2010 release.

» EA proves again what a piece of ***** they are

A hypocritical piece of ***** company.

Weren't they the ones just last year that told Dana White UFC and MMA "wasn't a sport," now they're coming out with MMA.

Madden isn't a sport. It's a fat *****tard announcer that is somehow extremely popular in sports. His name happens to be the name of a "football" series they release though every year.

I like some games that EA releases, but ***** EA. EA is a piece of *****.
