Just when you thought the market's probably flooded with all those One Piece and DBZ Budokai games, it looks like the anime-series-turned-video-game-brawler scene still has a couple of aces up its sleeve.

Well, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm is currently billed as a game that's set to "break the barrier between anime and video games," and judging from this off-screen gameplay vid from TGS, it looks like a keeper. It may not be the best fighting game ever, but hey, at least the graphics are going somewhere.

The game does look like an anime. Some might even say it looks better than the animation in the TV series.

Check out Gaara in this clip. Whoever's controlling him is definitely going cheap with those imploding sand bomb moves. Heh. Hilarious. Who cares if you're cheap with your moves - as long as you win, right?
