They're early: North America PSN Cards spotted in stores - Image 1Apparently, some retailers have jumped the gun on Sony's previously announced early 2008 launch of North America's PlayStation Network Cards. Kotaku reader Aerfox reports that he's spotted US$ 20 versions of the said card at the U.S. Army base in Aberdeen, Maryland.

No other details were provided regarding this matter, although this should indicate that you shouldn't be too surprised if similar cards start cropping up at your local retailer as well.

In any case, those of us without credit cards may consider this a bit of good news. No longer will we have to persuade our buddies and parents for help on our next few PSN shopping sprees. We'll let you know if any related info gets announced soon.
