The case file on Blacksite: Area 51 is now de-stamped off its "confidential" mark. It's been confirmed for the PS3 and 360 with all the bangs and whistles to send Fox Mulder and Dana Scully in another mad chase down the Nevada dessert.

While other FPS titles would promise "action-packed, highly-realistic gameplay", this new game from Midway (latest in the Area 51 series) will breach that cliché by maximizing the next-gen engines and bring the genre to the next level.

Compelling story line, vicious combat, hi-powered weapons - the works. Aside from the single-player mode, there will be a couple of others that'll have you pit against your buddies online in multiplayer. Yeah, yeah, sure. But when the hell (heavens, to be more exact) will it come out? The wait isn't that long as you might think. It's already set to invade summer 2007.
