Ubisoft Montreal knows that no self-respecting spec ops operative goes around without thermal vision goggles, and it didn't forget to include the very nifty gadget in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 (Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, PC). We've seen featurettes of thermal scan and night vision, so here's another cool one which showcases this squad-based shooter's thermal mechanics.

While thermal vision still sees through smoke like what they do in other games, Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 makes it look much sweeter. In the video, you'll find out how volumetric smoke can't prevent someone with the mighty goggles from shooting enemy soldiers. You can always order your men to do their thing, but where's the fun in that?
