Let loose the dogs of war in Tom Clancys EndWar - Image 1When a game like Tom Clancy's EndWar (PS3, Xbox 360) is set to come out on more than one system, players may understandably be concerned about version differences. Fortunately, Ubisoft producer Guillaume Brunier took the time to reassure players and to lay their fears to rest.

According to Brunier,  the PS3 version of Tom Clancy's EndWar will "offer the exact same feature set as the Xbox 360 version." That means voice command, 4-on-4 multiplayer games, and a persistent online campaign. Brunier added, however, that Ubisoft will be adding "a few handy SIXAXIS controls."

Another interesting thing to note is the composition and the interaction of the team members with one another. Brunier mentioned that some of the people who worked on Assassin's Creed (PC, PS3, Xbox 360) are helping them out. Furthermore, the PS3 development team is coordinating with the Xbox 360 team for best results. As Brunier put it:

End War X360 guys seat just upstairs so we see them all the time and they are reaaaaaaaally cool. We are actually sharing some key members to make sure we provide the same experience on both platforms. Working together goes both ways so whatever worthy implementation is done on one side is taken by the other side.

In closing, Brunier said that the Ubisoft team members are doing their best to make the gameplay experience of Tom Clancy's EndWar as smooth as they can possibly make it. These days, they're playing Call Of Duty 4, Patapon, Super Mario Galaxy, Warcraft 3. They also haven't ordered too much junk food till now.
