Ubisoft has sent out press release announcing the European Assault Pack, the first batch of DLC for their aerial combat game, H.A.W.X. (PS3, Xbox 360).

Included in the European Assault Pack are six new vehicles: the Saab-37 Viggen, FB-22, Dassault Rafale, XA-20 Razorback, and two Mirage planes designed for nuclear strike and long-range interception.

The DLC will go live on April 23 and will be available for the game's Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions. Price has been set at 400 MS Points and US$ 4.99, respectively.

A little caveat here, though. I've heard that some of the planes included in this pack -- the FB-22 and the XA-20, specifically -- can be gotten for free by way of button codes or by signing up for a free Ubisoft exclusive download promo. Is Ubisoft trying to pull a fast one here? Maybe the free unlocks don't work anymore. Haven't played H.A.W.X. yet so I'm not too sure about this.
