Free Radical's Haze for the Sony PS3 - Image 1

Developer Free Radical's once-controversial project Haze is coming exclusively to the Sony PlayStation 3 sometime between January to March 2008. That's according to French-based publisher Ubisoft.

This comes after Ubisoft Montreal's Audrey-Ann Milot told Ars Technica that finishing touches were underway and the release would come in either January or February of 2008. It turns out that pre-order information from GameStop may be right after all.

Haze is a first-person shooter which once caught the eyes of critics because of the substance abuse undertone that its plot carries. Free Radical, however, was quick to explain the context of the theme and all was settled nicely. Us gamers, on the other hand, have our eyes on it for a completely different reason: The graphics look great, the action seems furious, and the Free Radical reputation is a good one. Looks like Ubisoft is set to have a nice follow up to Assassin's Creed.
