commercial wit that energy hog, its ugly, and the announcer was british lol
Nothing surprising. Actually I expected a 360 to consume more power than 145 Watt. Also a 2W leakage is not really much. I bet my TV and stereo use the same - not to mention my PC, which definetly uses more than 145 Watts when it is not just idling
but when they brought the calculation "clock cycles = calculation speed" it became somewhat ridiculous. They could also calculate the VU0 and VU1 of the Emotion Engine as seperate cores, giving the PS2 a much higher value in "clock cycles per watt".
They should have left that part out completely, it's pure nonsense.
It seems as if they have no clue that 145W is nothing compared to even the cheapest PCs. My video card uses more than 145W by itself
I really could give a rats a$$ about this. Is there anything we can do now that we have this info? NO, so why did I have to waste precious moments reading it?
It's safe to say you don't pay the electric bill in your household?
plajourized AGAIN.. god damn you bloggers are greedy bastards

Perhaps you mean "plagiarized"? Now that you know the correct spelling, go search for its meaning. If you're smart enough to do that, you'll know by then this article is in no way "plagiarized".
okay then if im so incorrect. please re-read this article then re-read the article it was based off and just try and tell me that its not plagiarized.
"It's a fact, current and next-gen consoles consume more power, expend more heat, and make a lot more noise with their cooling systems compared to their predecessors. It may be obvious that an Xbox 360 consumes more energy than a Playstation 1, but we really don't how much more it consumes. But the more important question is whether your console is costing you money even while you sleep.
DX Gaming has put several consoles to the test to find answers to these nagging questions. You'd be surprised at some of the results.
Some of you may not be aware of electricity leaks."
note how your blogger got really lazy and decided to copy and paste most of this blog WITHOUT saying it was from the DX Gaming site. the way its phrased here makes it appear like your blogger wrote it, even though in reality it was simply copyed and pasted into here then edited to improve the readability
pla·gia·rize
To use and pass off (the ideas or writings of another) as one's own.
It will be looked in to, next time, try to be more professional with the complaints and contact us directly, not thru comments carrying such words; it is very hard to take such point seriously. As for the accusation, DX gaming was sourced (check read link) and was even mentioned in the last paragraph. Anyways, thanks for calling our attention. Hope all 's well.
