It's time to get to know the characters from behind the characters of Naughty Dog's Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Jeff Rubenstein got hold of Nolan North, voice actor for Nathan Drake, and let us in on some insights on "the role of actual acting in video games".

It was a very animated interview, so to speak, thank to Nolan's amicable disposition. He even revealed how Naughty Dog motivated them to get in character for the franchise. You'll want to check it out yourself.

I wouldn't want a movie, you know they'd ***** it up.. but he looks enough like drake so I'd say just use him.

...only if Naughty Dog made one using cg with the same voice actors.

Maybe but if it was CGI I bet I'd keep reaching for the PS3 joypad subconciously expecting to interact with it somehow...

Heh, great interview. Agreed with pretty much everything he said. As great as the gameplay, graphics, sound and everything were in Uncharted the characters themselves really endeared themselves to most players and improved the whole experience even more.

Was nice to see the other cast members at the end too. Seems like the characters looks are in most ways based on them too so is a bit surreal to see them all together like that.
