If you thought the Marvel movie and game craze is over after Spider-Man, the X-Men and the Fantastic Four did their numbers, you ain't seen nothing yet. 2008 will mark the big screen debut of Marvel mainstay Iron Man and like the other Marvel movies, he'll have a video game tied in with the flick. What you'll see below is an early gameplay demo with a walkthrough from the developers. Take a look:

The video features a lot of flying and busting done by industrialist-turned-armored-hero Tony Stark. Using Uni Beams and other weapons, he takes out power generators supplying electricity to a big laser cannon. It looks pretty fun beating on hapless humans in your cybernetic glory and it's building  up some anticipation for more on this title.

Activision used to do most of the development work for Marvel franchises but this time, it's Sega's turn to try its hand with Iron Man. The Japanese firm has purchased the rights to create the official game tie-in and this should give us some fresh nuances to the superhero line of gaming. Iron Man ships in 2008 for the Sony PlayStation 3 and the Microsoft Xbox 360 game consoles.

 » Whatever..

I dont like the way he reacts to damage. lets say you are wearing a massively powerful suit of armor, if i get hit my a missile when i'm flying around i'm not just going to stay like a statue. i'm going to get my flight path slightly messed up or i'm at least going to recoil somewhat.
