Boy, don't you just love it when your balls hit the perfect spot? There's a sense of... accomplishment, and achievement, in being so precise and so... right on target. Sigh, what I wouldn't give to play with a lotta bouncy balls... Don't you just love tennis?!

And with Virtua Tennis 3 (PSP, Xbox360, PS3), you'll not only get to show off those impeccable topspins and backhand shots, you'll also get to practice the precision of your shots with the Bulls-Eye mini game. So you've seen how the Drum Tropple works, as well as the frantic Alien Attack mini-game. And while those mini-games surely hone your skills on force, agility, and alertness, this time, we're gonna place all our swingin' energies on precision and focus.

Alright, what exactly is this Bulls-Eye mini-game all about? Well, as you can probably tell from how they call the mini-game, the basic objective is to aim the ball right at the center of the target. You perfect this, and you'll be saying aloha to a lot of aces fellas. Here are some tips on how to get through the nerve-wracking, time-pressuring, mini-game:
  • Control the analog stick and angle the ball perfectly into the center of the target to gain maximum points.
  • Stay alert and on the watch for the balls that'll hit your way from the ball launcher. Stay on your toes and not too far from the net to anticipate the balls.
  • Don't forget the time element here. As you're struggling to focus and try to get maximum points, a clock will be tick tocking away so make sure you hit each and every ball correctly to up your score.
Virtua Tennis 3 will be smashing and lobbing its way onto the PSP, Xbox360, and PS3 Q2 2007.
