Warhawk: details on September 5 maintenance - Image 1 A maintenance window has been scheduled for Warhawk servers from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. on September 5. This is being done to implement a fix that should solve the problem of players being randomly dropped from the game.

To give you an idea of how bad it has become, Dylan Jobe, one of the developers of the game, said that "during these player drops the community would see the total world-wide player count drop between 1000 and 1500 players - clearly not good."

He also addressed the issue of some players not being able to play online. The cause of this bug has not been determined yet but reports from various community suggest that it has something to do with the newly implemented PlayStation 3 firmware 1.92. No news yet on when this will be fixed, but we'll keep you guys posted as soon as an announcement is made.

Incognito Entertainment has been pretty prompt with their fixes for the game. Judging from that, we can probably expect them to iron out the remaining problems very soon.

 » ??????????

i tried to go online with warhawk yesterday at about 7 pm in the uk and could not connect, kept getting timed out so i had to create a lan game and play on my own for about 2 hours cos there was no one else around to connect to so that was a bit boring after a while, this is why i think the makers of this game should offer an update to give us all a one player mode for such occasions.
it could be races, puzzle missions or whatever else you can think of.

» HOW TO SOVE CONNECTION PROBLEM

I found a solution for that problem on the GameFAQ board. Just go to network settings and select Test Network Connection or whatever it's called. After this you are able to connect again. Please update the post with this information so people experiencing the problem after the 1.92 update can go online again!

» how many warhawks does it take to change a light bulb? none, it cant be done, as they cant get in the room to change it!

that solution isnt working for everyone, i wish sony wouldnt ***** things up all the time, mine was working fine before the firmware update, but it's been on and off since.
my mates couldnt get on last night then they could then they couldnt, then they got disonnected, then they couldnt join the sony games! what a waste of money this game is turning out to be, it has all the same issues as the beta, i thought the idea of a beta was to test the water and see what kinks need ironing out! nice to see incognito paid attention when running the beta.

so if you have a few hours spar tonight, get on warhawk, you may be able to join a small game for a about 30 mins out of your 3 hour gaming time!
i would say get ghost recon 2 instead, but that has just as many disconnects and game full errors! if you are looking for a good reliable online game for the ps3 and you dont already have it (those living in caves) get resistance, i cant recall ever not being able to join a game on there or ever getting disconnected! they obviously did something right!

Don't think that is it as I know lots of people (myself included) that had a lot of trouble connecting/playing online before the firmware was out...

I had some issues connecting to Warhawk immediately after I did the update. Both beffore an after that it has been running fine for me, no drops and smooth as silk.

I had problems even before the update. Also, my stats have not updated since 9-1!
