With this bit of info, some people might think that maybe Square Enix has bitten off more than it could chew on the Rumor Pie. Either that, or everyone's just shoving down the Rumor Pie at Squeenix's throat too much. What with Kingdom Hearts rumors, FFVII-remake rumors, and that harsh FFVIII-2 rumor, it gets tiring to catch up as it is. And just yesterday, a Korean website revealed the logo of what seems to be yet another installment in the Fabula Nova Crystallis Final Fantasy XIII project.

Final Fantasy Melody XIII - Image 1

We're fresh out of ideas on this one. Speculate as you will. It could be photoshopped fan art, or it could be an actual concept artwork for an unannounced title. Ruliweb, the website that posted this mysterious picture, speculates that this "Final Fantasy Melody XIII" is to be revealed during next week's TGS and that it could be a PS3 title.

We checked online to see what other people say, and popular opinion holds that this could be, quite simply, the cover of FFXIII's soundtrack album. Now if there's only one thing we can bank on, it's the Tokyo Game Show. All of these rumors seem to have the TGS at its center - claiming that everything will finally be explained, revealed, debunked, or at least commented on during that trade show. For now, we've only just a couple of days to wait. Le sigh.

For those wondering, the Fabula Nova Crystallis project is composed of Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII for the PS3, and Final Fantasy Agito XIII for the mobile phone platform.

yup. as The Frenchman said above, the ffvii-2 rumor has been around for quite some time now. just go to google and type FFVII-2 RINOA. look for a scan. ^_^ however, some of my own friends told me that it's nothing but fan art used in a malaysian(?) magazine.

Looks shooped to me. I wasn't aware that Amano-style work was being done for anything other than the monochromatic title images. That's definitely an illustration.

 » "monochromatic title images"

What are you talking about, the final fantasies logos are not monochromatic at all, you can see yellow to red in the FF8 logo and blue-to-purple-to-yellow on the FFX logo, etc. So it's completly false to say that Yo*****aka Amano do only monochromatic images. PS: monochromatic means one single color...

Anyway, I still suppose it's the soundtrack.

ps: sorry if I look arrogant and stupid, but I become all worked-up when I see things I consider false, sorry.

Melody... says it all.
BTW I'm French only by language, J'suis du Québec aussi.

Either it's the name for the soundtrack, or just a FF13-themed Dance Dance Revolution game.
