No console-specific characters for Street Fighter 4 - Image 1Many of you have probably heard about the decision Namco Bandai made to introduce a different Star Wars character into Soul Calibur 4 (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3) depending on your console. Well, it seems Capcom is one company that won't be following suit with their own popular brand of fighting game.

Over at Comic Con, Yoshinori Ono has confirmed that there won't be any console-specific characters for Street Fighter 4 (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, Arcade). A Street Fighter fan was wondering if the different console versions of the game would take the same path as Soul Calibur 4 and carry different characters. To this, Ono replied, "We don’t want to go in that direction."

The home version will be getting additional stuff, but it seems like we won't have to worry about which version will get us better characters as all the home versions will be getting the same goodies.
