Zaku Zaku!

After having first caught a glimpse of this new Namco Bandai and Koei hybrid just some time ago, we finally get some screenshots to see how this latest addition to the Gundam franchise will look on your TVs.

In any case, Gundam Musou, which is basically a cross between Gundam and Dynasty Warriors, is expected to become a hit in Japan because of the combination of two elements which have already proven popular in the past. Whether this formula will prove successful once the game actually makes it onto store shelves, though, remains to be seen.

Many are guessing that it's all basically button-mashing plus mecha since we don't have too many details about the game yet. In fact, even it's release date is yet unknown. What we do know is that, well, see those Zakus? Yes, you have to mow them all down. Now, whether you'll have to break open mecha-sized barrels to get mecha-sized meat buns in order to recover your HP is also a question. In the meantime, all those red lifebars can't help but remind us of this other, little game called Zone of the Enders...

 » Wow

looks great. Im a big fan of the Dynasty Warriors series. Hopefully though, they won't make it as easy as Dynasty Warriors 4 and 5 were. I think 3 was perfect in the difficulty when you put it to the hardest mode. As long as they have a ton of questions, stages, and a good difficulty with smart AI, I'm in.

This is much more impressive than their first release.
