PS3 - Ratchet and Clank Future: Quest for Booty - Image 1A sequel to Ratchet & Clank Future was indeed confirmed a few days ago during Sony's E3 press conference. But now, we got some new info from Europe: while it was previously announced that the game is headed to the PSN (for US$ 15, man, that's a steal!), we now get confirmation that Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty will also experience what WarHawk and GT5 Prologue had - a Blu-ray disc version.

PS3 - Metal Gear Solid 4 - Metal Gear Online - Image 1Time for some international pwnage. In a press release, Konami's announced that they'll be holding a Metal Gear Online World Championship 2008 event for this summer. Nice. It's open for pretty much everybody, and if you make it far enough in the tournament, not only do you get a free trip to Japan, you might find yourself smack in the middle of one of the video game industry's hottest annual events, the Tokyo Game Show! Care to join?

Square Enix - Final Fantasy 13 - Image 1Yesterday, Square Enix announced that former PS3-exclusive Final Fantasy 13 will be jumping ship and heading over to the Xbox 360 as well. Though this sudden move might upset a lot of Final Fantasy fans across various consoles (and handhelds), investors in Japan seem to like the idea. Over at the Tokyo Stock Exchange, Square Enix's stock shares have gotten an upwards swing following yesterday's big reveal at E3.

E3 2008: Hydrophobia - Image 1Apparently, Hydrophobia really does hold some frakkin' water! And it's looking gorgeous enough to make your eyes bleed. Guess I was right on the money - Hydrophobia is anything but vaporware now, and we've got the assets (screens and a teaser trailer, woohoo!) to prove it! If you weren't convinced with the screens from last year, then now's the time to hop on the Hydro Engine ship before it sails away. And to think: all that water's rendered in-game!
