 Chart Track UK has released the numbers for video game sales in the UK as of December 22. Activision and Infinity Ward's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (PS3,  Xbox 360, PC) took top honors, leading all the other games in sales.

Ubisoft is still hard at work to make a patch for Assassin's Creed (Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3) and make the game bug-free, but it looks like we won't be seeing results anytime soon. Senior PR manager Michael Beadle says the company is still trying to figure out what causes Assassin's Creed to crash.
