Good news, PS3 owners. DICE and Electronic Arts have officially set a date for Battlefield: Bad Company 2's PS3 beta: November 19. PC gamers, on the other hand, will get in on an open beta in December. There will also be a demo launching early next year. Beta details and an announcement trailer are available after the jump.

Yes, there will be a beta for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (PS3, Xbox 360, and PC) or at  least DICE has hinted at it. GameStop, however, has jumped the gun and posted a supposed date for the release of the said beta -- only to take it down later.

Electronic Arts has announced that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will be getting a Limited Edition version too. The good news is it won't cost you a penny more than the standard edition. It'll come with six customization unlocks that give players an advantage in multiplayer matches at the same price as the standard edition. Details past the jump.

Another game that took to the spotlight in Electronic Arts' GamesCom press conference was DICE's Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (PS3, Xbox 360). The sequel to last year's Battlefield: Bad Company is now confirmed for release next year. Details after the jump.

Information's starting to trickle out for Electronic Arts and DICE's sequel to the blockbuster FPS hit in the Battlefield: Bad Company franchise. According to an EA Forums post, it's been revealed in the OXM UK issue #56 that 40 players have been confirmed for online play in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (PS3, Xbox 360, PC). Take out those beer kegs, this is sure to be a party.
