Fallout 3 - Image 1Canadian PS3 owners are reporting problems with the PS3 version of Fallout 3's Game of the Year edition. Apparently, there's a bug keeping the GotY edition from recognizing their original Fallout 3 save files.

Fallout 3 - Image 1The tentative release date of Fallout 3's Game of the Year edition has just been solidified thanks to an announcement from Bethesda confirming the October 13 release date. The price points mentioned last month have also been confirmed. That's US$ 59.99 for PS3 and Xbox 360 versions and US$ 49.99 for the PC version. Of special interest to PS3 gamers are the announced release dates for the Fallout 3 DLC. Details after the jump.

PS3 Fallout 3 - Image 1It just might be possible that Bethesda will release Fallout 3's PS3 DLC sooner than "the end of September." Operative words: just might. A couple of Kotaku tipsters caught and compared trophies screen pics, apparently showing trophies pegged to the expansions.

Fallout 3 - Image 1The second DLC pack for Fallout 3 has been confirmed by Bethesda to be released in retail come August 25th, 2009. The said retail pack will feature Broken Steel and Point Lookout for both the Xbox 360 and PC. More details after the jump.

Fallout 3 - Image 1A few more things you need to know about Mothership Zeta when she sets sail for the Xbox 360 and PC versions of Fallout 3: it is "full of the most high tech weaponry in the game." Really, Jeff Gardiner of Bethesda said so himself (game also on PS3) .

Fallout 3 - Image 1Anticipating the launch of the Mothership Zeta DLC for Fallout 3 on the Xbox 360 and PC, MTV Multiplayer asked Jeff Gardiner of Bethesda via an email interview if it would be possible to raise the level cap from the current 30. His answer: it's not advisable as it could make the game unbalanced.

Fallout 3 for PS3 - Image 1Bethesda has announced earlier that the DLC for Fallout 3's PS3 version will not make the initial "late June" announcement, and will be pushed back to "end of September" to make room for more testing time for the PS3, keeping in mind that the PC and Xbox 360 versions have had theirs for a while now. What we've got now is a promise from the developers that we will soon be getting an update as to how the DLC is coming along.
