Polyphony Digital boss Kasunori Yamauchi is said to to be toying with the idea of putting in more toys for the big boys in the Gran Turismo series. Two-wheeled toys, to be specific.

Gran Turismo 5 is a big game. The car count alone attests to that. Of course, games cost money, and big ones even more so. So just how money much did Polyphony Digital use to make Gran Turismo 5? Almost as much as Shenmue, apparently.

The PlayStation House Tour is on the move and right now, it's in the UK hopping from one city to the next, showcasing all their best titles. And yes, included in the roster of playable titles is the much-coveted Gran Turismo 5.

In the latest making-of video from Polyphony Digital head honcho Kazunori Yamauchi tells us all about the inclusion of the Mercedes 2011 SLS AMG in Gran Turismo 5. A treat for hardcore car fanatics, but that's not the only interesting part in the video. There's also this certain box that Yamauchi is shown holding. One labeled Gran Turismo 5.

Polyphony Digital is taking Gran Turismo 5 and Gran Turismo PSP on the road. Both games have been confirmed to be playable at next week's Tokyo Motor Show. They're also throwing in a few extras for attendees. Details after the jump.
