In an interview with Kikizo, Quantic Dream's founder, David Cage, recounted an instance when he met the awesome, larger than life Hideo Kojima. "Very interesting" was how he described the said meeting with the creator of one of the most successful icons in videogaming history, Solid Snake.

It's been going around for a couple of months now, but finally we have official word on the release window of Heavy Rain being pushed to 2010 instead of late-2009. In an interview with GamesIndustry, Quantic Dream co-CEO Guillame de Fondaumiere mentioned that they'd rather not release the game in the thick of the Christmas rush.

Don't worry, Trophy fanatics, Heavy Rain will indeed have support for that feature. Quantic Dream just hasn't gotten around to deciding how exactly they're going to integrate it into the game.

As good as you might think Heavy Rain looks now, Quantic Dream's David Cage says that they're still a long way from finishing it up. In an interview with NowGamer, Cage revealed that the PS3 exclusive title is still in alpha and that there's still "a whole lot of work to be done".

In this GTTV exclusive interview with the Heavy Rain team, we're given a kickass preview of the unfolding drama in this interactive psychological thriller. Going in depth by talking about the controls and how much of a videogame is Heavy Rain actually (I'm working on it, and I can confirm it is a videogame - Petro Piaseckyj. Managing Producer), that's all very catching. But what stole the moment was when the year 2010 flashed on the screen at the end of the video. Delay much?

Finally after months of anticipation, here comes a new video of Heavy Rain with some actual gameplay footage. Developed by the folks at Quantic Dream, the clip shows a glimpse of the intuitive gameplay of the impressive-looking PS3 exclusive. Watch the video after the link.

There are games that can be shared, but there are some that are meant for only one console, that one which no exclusivity deal can coerce to cross to the other side. One such game is Quantic Dream's Heavy Rain. David Cage said so as much: "I think the game can only be done on PlayStation 3."

Back in August, downloadable episodes were revealed to be a possibility for Heavy Rain. But what's important here is that, though Quantic Dream already has a couple in mind (in fact, they've already got "many plans" in mind), they still want to give the game its bang for the buck factor, even without the DLC.
