Lair - Image 1Ever wondered what caused the delay of Factor 5's Lair in Europe? Wonder no more, as it seems that the dragon-riding game blessed with the SIXAXIS' motion controls seems to have been snagged with a manufacturing issue. Yes, it's the game discs themselves that warranted a slight delay of the game's release, having no age rating printed on them. And apparently, in Europe, that's a big legal no-no.

Check the full article for the entire details about the delay.

The Eye of Judgement packshot - Image 1Online blog Three Speech had revealed the European launch dates for major PlayStation 3 titles Eye of Judgement, Lair, Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, and Singstar PS3.

And at this point, let us say that it looks like Europe-based gamers will be having a great holiday season this year.

We kick things off with Eye of Judgement, a turn-based card battle video game slated for launch this October 26. It uses the PlayStation Eye camera and should provide TCG newbies and veterans with hours of exciting gameplay.

PlayStation 3 owners, furthermore, will be treated with a double release on November 9 with Lair as well as Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction hitting the market on that date.

On December 7, European gamers will be getting Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. This action-adventure game has been building up quite a bit of hype ever since it was first announced. We'll have to wait and see if the game lives up to the expectations of the PS3 community.

Finally, we have SingStar PS3 which will also be released during December. So far, no specific date has been announced but we can probably be sure that Sony will be releasing more details about its launch soon.

Sony PS3 with free Lair - Image 1QJ.NET reader Senjutsu spotted a sweet Sony PlayStation 3 deal over at the Canadian Futureshop store ran by Best Buy. The 80 GB Sony PS3 doesn't only shed a whopping CAD$ 160.00 (US$ 166) from its original price, it also comes free with Sony PS3 exclusive game Lair.

The 80 GB version of the Sony PS3 was formerly priced at CAD$ 659.99 (US$ 684), but now carries a much lighter price tag of CAD$ 499.99 (US$ 518). This should make it easier for everyone to get an 80 GB version if they've been hesitant due to the earlier price point.

The Sony PS3 is considered as the most advanced among the three next-generation consoles with its Blu-ray drive, Cell Broadband Engine processor and its RSX powerhouse.

The free game Lair is a nice-looking fantasy title which stars hero Rohn and his fire-breathing dragon. Together, they soar atop the clouds to bring peace to a land torn by conflict. Keep it with us for more hot deal news.
