Take Two - Image 1Director says, "CUT!" So now Red Dead Redemption (PS3, Xbox 360) and Mafia II (PS3, Xbox 360) are prepping for their second take at securing that elusive release date. Take-Two Interactive has announced the bad news - the two titles will indeed need a take-two for release now that they're not making their scheduled Fall 2009 margin.

Mafia 2 - Image 1Just because The Godfather II (PS3, Xbox 360) is out doesn't mean that it's gonna be the only gang war game this year, no way. While this one isn't near its expected October release, Mafia 2 (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC) is handing out new screens for the upcoming title, thanks to 2K Czech. Check 'em out.

Extended Mafia 2 Trailer Has More Real-time Footage - Image 1You watched the premiere of Mafia II during the VGA awards, yeah? Good stuff. So good, that people started to ask whether it was rendered in real-time. The game's lead animator sent out an e-mail saying that yes, it was real-time, capice? If you want more real-time Mafia action, watch the extended version of the VGA trailer in the full article.

Mafia 2 - Image 1"Bless me, Father, for I have sinned." Nothing like mafia gangsters in the confession booth, asking forgiveness for all the ho-banging, car-chasing, bat-bashing, and people-smoking that they do on a regular basis. Wickedly cool, this one.

I swear, the girl that stepped out of the confession booth looks just like Elisabeth Filarski-Hasselbeck.

Mafia 2 - Image 1Here's a small treat: it's a 15-second teaser of what role Mafia 2 (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC) will have at the Spike VGA. Time to play gangster again so start practicing your fake Italian accent and call on your ever-large-and-loyal goons to your side. Or you can just open your Facebook account and start playing Mob Wars instead.
