MotorStorm: Pacific Rift's pre-release demo was originally intended to be strictly pay-to-play. However, that seems to be not exactly the case now as reports are circulating that SCEE's been sending out email invites.

MotorStorm: Pacific Rift is all set to race over the Pacific. A launch date's been set, and there's also some tie-in promo with GameStop that you'd probably want to check out if you can't wait to get your hands on the game, even for just the demo.

Beginning September 11, American Qore subscribers and select European PSN users will be getting their first taste of Sony and Evolution Studio's MotorStorm: Pacific Rift via a demo. Luckily, we've found out just what'll be in the demo, and it looks to be a pretty nice throwback to the first game.
