The news about a PS3 Greatest Hits bundle was pretty much already confirmed yesterday with a picture and some details right out of Target. Today, Sony makes it official. What's more is that they've now also confirmed that this MotorStorm + R:FoM SKU will be specifically available in Target "in limited quantities." This has led people to believe that a price cut may still be in order.

While it's not exactly the US$ 99 price cut we heard about earlier today, this is still a pretty sweet deal. Word has come in that Target stores have received a brand new PS3 SKU, with an 80 GB console bundled with MotorStorm and Resistance: Fall of Man.

 It's official: Sony has sent out a statement that confirms the discontinuation of the 80GB PlayStation 3 Motorstorm bundle. Don't worry, though. You can still get a unit with a big hard drive with the Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots PS3 bundle when it arrives. Details after the jump.
