Director says, "CUT!" So now Red Dead Redemption (PS3, Xbox 360) and Mafia II (PS3, Xbox 360) are prepping for their second take at securing that elusive release date. Take-Two Interactive has announced the bad news - the two titles will indeed need a take-two for release now that they're not making their scheduled Fall 2009 margin.

If you somehow thought Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption was going to be all about prairie dogs and campfire singalongs, think again. Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser recently told IGN that blood will indeed flow in the sequel to Red Dead Revolver.

Rockstar Games has released the debut trailer for Red Dead Redemption, the follow-up to their 2004 PS2 and Xbox title Red Dead Revolver. Check it out after the jump.
