We know that Resident Evil 5: Director's Cut is getting support for Sony's motion controller, but is that the only thing new? Apparently not.

Following up on the news that the PS3 version of Resident Evil 5: Director's Cut will be incorporating Sony's new motion controller into its control scheme, here's a vid of the new controls being demoed at the Tokyo Game Show.

Sony has handed out a few more details about their new motion controller, more specifically the titles that will be supporting it. There are a bunch of new games being made specifically for the motion controller, but existing titles will also be patched for support via updates. There WILL BE a Director's Cut for Resident Evil 5 (Xbox 360 and  PS3, PC). Nope, it's not from the source famously known as "Anonymous". This confirmation's from Resident Evil 5 voice actress Patricia Ja Lee herself. Otherwise known as Jill Valentine.

Heads up PS3 players of Resident Evil 5 (also on Xbox 360): Capcom has just released patch 1.03 for the game. If you fire up your system right now, you will be prompted to download the patch which is a mere 38mb in size. So what's new with this patch? Hit the link to find out.

Sumthing Digital is offering something creepy-groovy for all you Resident Evil 5 (Xbox 360 and  PS3) fans out there. For US$ 9.99, you can avail of a 3-CD set of the game's original soundtrack. Considering that you're getting three CDs - which also happen to include other classics - that's a steal deal, for sure.

Remember the Chris and Sheva figures from last month? Those were unbelievably detailed. This time, the Hong Kong-based toysmiths of Hot Toys pulled the veil off their third collectible toy from Resident Evil 5 (Xbox 360 and  PS3), and he's someone we know all too well, dating back to his infamy in the very first Resident Evil - Albert Wesker.

Brain food! While you're busy trying to avoid getting crunched by hordes of Majini, Capcom's busy crunching Resident Evil 5 sales figures by the hundreds of thousands: well, one and a half million, to be exact. Yes, the NPD software sales figures for the month of March have already been released, and in that report, we find RE5 on the Xbox 360 and  PS3 bringing home the bacon (and the meat, and the brains, and the guts...). The sizes of Capcom's multiplayer mode DLC for Resident Evil 5 raised a few eyebrows when they were released. The files' small sizes - 1.8MB for the Xbox 360 version and a mere 351KB for the PS3 version - had quite a few gamers calling shenanigans (Rabble Rabble Rabble!).

Tomorrow already? Yes! EA is indeed launching their very own PlayStation Home space for The Godfather II, and it's happening tomorrow! So their teaser posters were really for a Home space after all, and they've got an ace up their sleeve: it's a Texas Hold 'Em table!
