European fans who are eagerly awaiting for SOCOM: Confrontation's already-delayed-as-it-is February release may get burned even more. Now, reports are coming in that the game is pushed back to March! Understandably, European gamers are getting antsy and frustrated. There's even talk of dropping SOCOM orders altogether and maybe getting Killzone 2 instead. Uh-oh... Looks like SCE and Slant Six are in a jam.

Remember the March 13 Resistance: Retribution European release date we reported on a while back? Yeah, well that's apparently still not a confirmed date. Neither is the March 17 release posted on the US PlayStation blog. And it gets worse. SOCOM: Confrontation, a game that's been out in the US since October, is also still missing a Euro release date.

After a couple of months of teasing, Slant Six and SCEA have finally given out a release date for SOCOM: Confrontation's patch 1.30: today, January 9. Hit the full article for more info.

Sony gamers in Europe have a lot to look forward to in the next few months. Sony Europe has revealed release dates for several games, including Patapon 2, and SOCOM Confrontation, so you might want to get a pencil out.

Surprise! SCEA's already been burning the midnight oil for the upcoming SOCOM: Confrontation v1.3 patch and guess what? They've actually also been able to squeeze in a new feature that wasn't revealed when the patch was initially announced: the Quick Match option! Go grab your buddies and spread the cheer - we're taking this to another level!

SOCOM: Confrontation's upcoming v1.30 patch update is looking quite a doozy. Better features, more fluid graphics, bug fixes, and the whole shebang. Oh dear. While everyone else in North America is having fun in SOCOM: Confrontation for about a month now, gamers in Europe draw the short stick once again. As it was, they've been scheduled as the last region to get Confrontation (supposed to be released this Friday already). But to make matters worse (and thus confirming a previous rumor), some last minute sniping maneuvers have just pwned the European release date. Delayed to when, you ask? Early 2009, they say. And why was it delayed? Who knows...

SOCOM: Confrontation has been out in North America for more than a month now. In Europe, it's supposed to come out on November 28. Thing is, we've just heard word that the game might not make its scheduled release date.
