That's about as good as we've ever seen Sin City in a video game, eh? Fortunately, the environment isn't the only thing that looks good here. The movement of objects on screen seen in trailers and the full HD treatment makes for a real treat for the graphics connoisseur. Terrorist hunting is also more fun than ever in this game. You've got a slew of weapons and tactics that you can use to counter the threat and send the baddies to the big house. Get your copy now and be truly elite. |

Ubisoft yesterday announced that Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas for the PlayStation 3 has shipped to retailers. So if you missed the series' earlier releases, this might be a good chance to try out this FPS and see what it's about. At US$ 59.99, it isn't cheap, but if you're a fan of tactical shooters, it's worth every penny. The game, as the title implies, revolves around the bright lights of Vegas. It has become a hotspot for terrorists so the big guns need to be called in - enter your team of highly trained counter-terrorist operatives codenamed Rainbow Six. While the storyline may not seem that compelling or original, you'll have to trust us when we say it can get addicting after some time. Apparently we're not the only one who feels this way since this game has already sold a good 5.5 million copies on other platforms worldwide. If multiplayer is your thing, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas has 20 multiplayer maps and 10 game modes for you to play. If you own multiple consoles and bought a copy for either the Xbox 360 and PC version, you may want to check it out for the ten new multiplayer maps and two game modes that are exclusive to the PS3 game. So strap up your boots, and get ready. It's a good night to go hunting, Rainbow Six style. Are you up to the challenge rookie? |

The PlayStation 3 version of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas by Ubisoft has been generally well-received by fans and critics alike. If you're still thinking about whether to get this title or not, maybe this lengthy gameplay video can help you decide. Have a peek:
As you probably know by now, Rainbow Six: Vegas allows you to lace up your combat shoes as a member of the world's most elite anti-terrorist unit. When the bad guys threaten a city that attracts 37 million tourists a year, you know you have to be there to round them up. The game takes you to different locales in Sin City where you track down terrorists and neutralize them by surgically making their bodies a foster home for lead. We all know they won't take invitations to go downtown, so what's a guy to do? If you're looking for action, this game is armed to the hilt. |

Wondering what sort of combat Ubisoft's Rainbow Six: Vegas game for the PlayStation 3 will bring? We might be able to help with that bit of speculation, by way of this recently released gameplay video. The video will be presenting a Neon Graveyard combat, which used to be downloadable content for RSV's Xbox 360 release.
And for the record - the guys behind the controls has some pretty smooth moves. Enjoy your viewing sessions, and stay tuned in case we pick up more info for RSV, and its upcoming Red Edition expansion. |

What's with these third-party delays anyway? Is the localization taking longer than expected or something? Did they forget the Spanish equivalent for sniper rifle fire? All we can say is it's not exactly a great start for the European launch. In addition to five titles now known to be delayed for the European launch of the PS3, two additional Tom Clancy titles will taking their time to reach store shelves as well. According to CVG, Ubisoft's Rainbow Six: Vegas and Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 will also be late for the Euro launch this coming March 23. Rainbow Six: Vegas is now apparently scheduled for a "spring release," while GRAW 2 will be heading to store shelves sometime in June. Ubisoft has yet to inform people of the reason behind the delays. In the meantime, save your cash, make a time deposit for one month, and see if doing that gets you enough money to grab two of the now seven delayed games in PS3 launch limbo. |
