Naughty Dog's so far consistently impressed us with the amazing quality of their PS3 games, limited though it may be (for now) to the Uncharted franchise. however, it looks like although they have sure found a hit with the adventures of Nathan Drake, the team dogs are out to bark at yet another tree.

It has been just a little over a week since the Uncharted 2: Among Thieves demo hit the PlayStation Store, and Naughty Dog could not be more pleased with the reception that fans have shown for the game. Apart from getting downloaded a @#$%!-load of times, the demo has amassed a cumulative total playing time that has the equivalent of 27 years. Whoa.

"There will be downloadable content, yes," said Naughty Dog multiplayer designer Justin Richmond on supporting Uncharted 2: Among Thieves post-launch. Apart from making the confirmation, he also gave some info on what to expect, so read up and stay in-the-know.

Fans of the first Uncharted title will recognize who I am talking about. If not, then it's time for you to meet Donut Drake. He's the bloated version of usually lean Nathan Drake, and he'll be available as a "secret" (well, not so secret anymore) playable character straight off Uncharted 2's menu. Skeletal uncle, Sir Francis Drake, is also joining in on the adventure.

We're still waiting for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves to come along, but we already know that it won't be the last for Nathan Drake and Naughty Dog. No one said anything about sticking to the PS3 all the way, though. Through an interview with the Examiner, Naughty Dog's Evan Wells reveals that Drake's next adventure could take him straight into uncharted territory - the PSP.

There's an early surprise for European gamers from Sony. As it turns out, the much-awaited adventure title from Naughty Dog, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, will be getting a much earlier release than expected.

Twitter's really the rage right now, huh? Various forms of media already has or plans to have some form of Twitter integration. Games won't be an exception. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves will indeed be found among Tweets because Naughty Dog decided to add the service into the game, so everyone who follows you will be updated about your progress in the game.

It's still unconfirmed, but it looks like it's just any day now before the cat's out of the bag. About a couple of weeks a go, we reported on this news bit about a 250GB PS3 Slim model that's coming out to Europe, bundled with either Assassin's Creed II, Gran Turismo 5 or Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Well guess what. We have here the image of the supposed box for the rumored Uncharted 2 bundle.
