While fan feedback does go a long way in helping a company make a great game,  the invaluable feedback provided by actual WWE wrestlers about the game made the cost of obtaining the info well worth the effort.

 Chart Track UK has released the numbers for video game sales in the UK as of December 22. Activision and Infinity Ward's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (PS3,  Xbox 360, PC) took top honors, leading all the other games in sales.

THQ and JAKKS have revealed the details for their global promotional campaign for WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008 (PS3, PS2, PSP, Xbox 360, Wii, DS). The multi-million dollar marketing strategy will include a global TV campaign, print ads, tournaments, and the franchise's first-ever launch event at Toys'R'Us.

WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008 is scheduled for a November 13 release in North America.

Now that WWE Smackdown Vs. Raw (by THQ for the PS3, PS2, PSP Xbox 360, Wii, DS) is nearing its November 13 release, wrestling game fans have a lot of questions in their heads, specifically about how this year's installment of Smackdown Vs. Raw will turn out on the next-gen consoles.

One of the biggest issues for Smackdown 2008 is the fact that the character roster is just not as updated compared to other sports games with yearly installments, such as the Madden franchise.

THQ has let loose another batch of screenshots from WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2008, the latest multiplatform title in the WWE wrestling franchise. These screenshots give us a look at the game's various gameplay modes. Wrestling fanatics can also take a gander at bits of trivia about some of their favorite wrestlers.

WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 is the follow-up to last year's WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2007. It will be the first video game in the series to include the WWE's ECW brand and includes features such as a primary and secondary fighting style for all wrestlers as well as a new Tournament mode that lets players experience such WWE staples as the King of the Ring.

WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 is scheduled for release this month. It will be available for the Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, Sony PlayStation Portable, Nintendo Wii, and Nintendo DS.

Four new videos have arrived for WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw 2008 (Xbox 360, PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii, DS), three of them featuring one Wrestling's most prominent icons, Triple H. The fourth and final video features an interview with with Bobby Lashley and Torrie Wilson.

In Triple H's first video we see him enter the ring and display his signature move, spraying a fountain of water high into the air. The second video shows him battle it out with Randy Orton outside the ring. They continue the fight inside the ring in the third video, and Orton gets a taste of Triple H's finisher, the Pedigree.

In the fourth video with Lashley and Wilson they talk about their role in the game and the wrestling industry in general. They talk about how game aimed for accuracy, down from their walk to their wardrobe. And their moves of course. (Note: Torrie Wilson hates bikini matches.)

Looks like it won't be soon until THQ hits rock bottom with all the WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 (Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, Sony PlayStation Portable, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS) updates, now that there are more videos that "layeth the smacketh down." Kane and Carlito show off their flashy entrances and deadly special moves.

Fans would instantly familiarize themselves with the virtual counterparts of these crowd favorite wrestlers. Kane is as menacing as could be, while Carlito is still "cool." Their finishing moves, Kane's Tombstone Piledriver and Carlito's Back Stabber are recreated faithfully in the game.
