Pandemic has come up with a new DLC pack to lure players back into spreading more mayhem and destruction in Mercenaries 2: World in Flames (Xbox 360, PS3). The DLC pack is called Blow It Up Again and includes four new game modes (Urban Rampage, Death Race, Arms Race and Mercs Blitz) along with new "patriotic" characters. Pandemic Studios has released a new patch for Mercenaries 2 on the PS3. Patch update v1.02 finally brings Trophy support, and with that, we give you the Trophy list! And this time around, I'm seriously making it a conscious effort to keep those Secret Trophies secret. That way, I don't have to resort to "Secret Nuclear Bunker" road signs like what happened yesterday in the comments section for the Mirror's Edge Trophy List. *wink*

Yay for more destruction! Pandemic Studios has announced that they're prepping an update for Mercenaries 2: World in Flames on the Xbox 360 and PS3. Called the "Total Payback" update, it's set to add more features to the game.

The US PlayStation Network update for this week is now available. And yes, finally, the Mercenaries 2 demo is live - they probably got stuck in traffic along the way - as well as the demo for Fracture. PSP owners also get two downloadable titles this week, both from D3 Publisher: PQ and Cube.

The free demo for Electronic Arts and Pandemic Studios' third-person shooter, Mercenaries 2: World in Flames (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360) is making its way to the XBL and PSN. See what's in store for you in it, and when you can expect it to arrive at your doorstep.

It's either the best promotional stunt we've seen in a while, or the worst. I think it would depend on whether you got the free gas or not. To promote Mercenaries 2 (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360), Electronic Arts held a free gas giveaway in North London, resulting in a horrible traffic jam. Mercenaries 2: World in Flames, originally set to release last year, was moved to 2008 under circumstances of quality and preference. Creative director Cameron Brown of Pandemic Studios reiterated in an interview that it's on track to release in August, which Brown hopes will stick, because he wants to move on to Mercenaries 3 and even release a Mercenaries 2 for the Nintendo Wii. It seems that Pandemic Studios' Mercenaries 2: World in Flames (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) will not be making its expected February 8 release date. So far, no reason has been given for this second delay.
