Crytek has just teamed up with universities yet again for their technology, CryENGINE 3. Their goal is simple: get them hooked.

With Firmware 3.10 officially out, Sony can now get your direct report if in case your PS3 encounters some major errors, say, like unwarranted freezes. Read about their new reporting system after the jump.

It's not as much of a shocker as, say, Cactuar being already taken, but it's just as much of a news. ESRB has finally come out with their rating for Final Fantasy XIII (PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360). Like with the other iterations of the franchise, XIII has been tagged with a T for Teen rating.

The PS3-exclusive beta for DICE's Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (game also on Xbox 360 and PC) is already available for download, so get it while it's still hot. There's a problem with the server, though, but they're working on it quick.

A date's been set for Konami's Silent Hill 2 videogame movie sequel. A target date at least. Meeting the deadline is obviously going to be dependent on when the script is done, what with screenwriter Roger Avary sentenced to jail.

This is no surprise at all. Naughty Dog's Uncharted 2: Among Thieves continues to impress as as it goes on to sell copies, breaking the one million unit mark.

This is the week, guys! No more filler games! Well, alright, so we still have a couple of titles from the Imagine and Petz series, but never mind that. Big titles are coming out this week, and the publishers did not fail to beef up the lineup just before the Black Friday sales. It's a deluge of games, alright. Can your wallet handle it?

If you're feeling strapped for cash this past couple of weeks, particularly because of your latest purchases, Uncharted 2 and Modern Warfare 2, too bad, cos there's another hot "2" title that you shouldn't miss.
