We've already seen a couple of walkthrough videos of Sony's upcoming PlayStation Home and were completely taken in by the immersive content it has to offer. Since the PlayStation 3 homebrew development scene is still in its infancy stage, it's only natural that there's been a limited selection of homebrew apps and games to choose from. Fortunately, developer unjammer recently released a new homebrew emulator centered on the old school Apple II system. Entitled "BD-J Apple II Emulator", it can easily run demos of classic games made for the OS.

PlayStation 3 owners who are running out of space on their consoles, storing all downloadable goodies they've been hording over the months, may be a bit disappointed with the recent statement released by Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida, regarding the possibility of adding an external hard drive peripheral.

Word has it from French publisher Ubisoft that the latest iteration in the Tom Clancy video game franchise has finally been dated. Originally posted on MCV, Tom Clancy's EndWar is the new and upcoming real-time tactics strategy title that will see multiple releases on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Those of you who've seen the previous promotional artwork for Mega Man 9 might be surprised to find out Capcom has gotten more than a little bit serious about it. Despite being delivered as downloadable content for various consoles, the publishers have come up with a promo "box art" for the game using a retro-styled NES box and casing. The PlayStation 3 homebrew collection from BD-J just got a new addition to its library with the latest build of Souko No Bannin (version 0.0.3). The game plays similar to the old school transport puzzle title Sokoban (and probably where its name was derived from as well). Find out more in our full article.

It only makes sense that an online game based on some of the world's most famous comic book characters ought to have a story written by a famous comic book writer as well. Geoff Johns, the man whose contributions include DC Comics titles such as Green Lantern, Action Comics, and Justice Society of America, will be writing the story behind SOE's upcoming MMO title, DC Universe Online.
