Sequels, sequels, sequels. Lots of talk about those this week. While
most other companies are busy making sure they get to release a
big-name game with a "2" after its title,
Media Molecule is preferring
the opposite, opting for a sequel-less yet DLC-supported approach for
LittleBigPlanet.
Speaking of, it seems the PS3 price cuts are also doing wonders for
software sales when it comes to sequels, or so an
OTX report tells us.

Activision will definitely not be kind to those people who attempt to pirate their goose that's sure to lay golden eggs,
Modern Warfare 2 (PC, PS3 and Xbox 360).
Last Thursday, Activision apparently spotted a high-profile offer
posted on Craigslist for the said game. Not about to shrug it off, the
publisher actually hired a private investigative firm to catch the
seller.

Digital downloads seem to be the way of the future, looking at the
current landscape of the gaming industry now. Even analysts say that
retail
will be overtaken by digital distribution
in a mere three years' time.
Nintendo's big boss,
Satoru Iwata, begs to
differ, however. To him, digital distribution will sure be a hit -- but
not till 20 years later.

Demon's Souls is a veritable test of skill, doesn't mean you should be taking on those evil nasties without your trusty strategy guide. It appears some of the strategy guides included in the game's deluxe edition is prone to “unusual cover ink/wear fading.
Atlus is now offering to replace affected copies, so you'll have nothing else to blame for your lack of mad skills.

Media Molecule has shot down the possibility of a sequel for

Polyphony Digital use to make
Gran Turismo 5? Almost as much as
Shenmue, apparently.
