ps3Will the PS3 have an Eye-Toy like innovation? Yes! If rumor of Sony's secret weapon for the PS3 is not grossly exaggerated. The buzz says Sony has been involved with Prime Sense, an Israeli company that invented a technology that allows computers to see in 3D and grasp an understanding of the world based on sight like humans do.

Prime Sense’s interactive, plug-and-play, multi-platform device has the ability to see, track and react to user movements outside the computer without change of environment or wearable equipment. According to the reliable source (we haven't met a source who claims otherwise), Sony will have a PS3 peripheral using this incredible Prime Sense technology but designed for in-console gaming actions. If true, the PS3 really is a bargain after all!

ninja gaiden blackThough we try to set rumors aside, we can't simply ignore Electronic Gaming Monthly's (EGM) massive dose of gaming gossip. In the latest issue of the magazine, the weekly rumor column hints on a massively multiplayer version of Burnout, a re-designed PSP, Kingdom Hearts PSP, Star Wars game for the Wii, a next-gen Star Wars: Battlefront sans Pandemic, and an Xbox 360 version of Auto Assault. Of course, there's one for the PS3 too! EGM speculates there'll be a PS3 version Ninja Gaiden Black, the game that features dragon ninja, Ryu Hayabusa. There had been speculations way back in July 2005 about the game having a PS3 version, but EGM resurrecting the rumor makes it even more believable.

The Ninja Gaiden series gained popularity on the 8-bit NES for its tight-action gameplay, use of cinematic cut scenes and of course, the catchy music. It's been released as a 3D action game on the Xbox, developed by the makers of Dead or Alive, Team Ninja.

Details of the PS3 version were not revealed but we can probably expect even more astounding cinematic cut scenes, engaging plot, and challenging missions.
