The next Resident Evil movie, dubbed Resident Evil: Afterlife, has now been announced and production has begun in Toronto, Canada. Milia Jovovich will be returning as the overpowered, zombie-pwning Alice, while Claire Redfield will still be played by Ali Larter. The rest of the ol' crew will be meeting again on-set, but they will be joined by a new face - Wentworth Miller, who will play Chris Redfield.

This footage may not be much. But considering that Ninja Theory's action-adventure PS3 title won't be coming out 'til June 1 of this year to North America, this certainly piques the interest for Heavenly Sword.

Spotted at NBC's drama TV series "Heroes", this vid shows the scene where one of Ali Larter's characters, Jessica Sanders, is playing with her nephew. The gameplay footage, while not exactly long, is enough to showcase some rather cool stuff in-game. The graphics, as far as we can see, look entirely promising.

Thinking about it, it sure is a smart promotional way for the game. And a rather cool one at that. After all, they did pick a high-rating show to exhibit the goods, albeit for just a very quick moment.
