Feel like singing the crap out of your livingroom? SingStar's got 35 trophies for you to earn (yes, it has Trophies) as you prep yourself up for the next American Idol auditions, or maybe not. Anyway, start clearing your throat 'cause you have lots of songs to cover, plus a lot of SingStar socializing if you want get all these shiny treasures.

The sixth week of PSN Spring Fever features the usual truckload of add-ons, trailers, and the ever-present Rock Band and Guitar Hero tracks. Spearheading today's batch is Wheel of Fortune and the LBP Killzone Mini-pack. Karaoke Revolution also features songs that certainly put the movie mood on, but they're the American Idol versions though. Check the list inside for a some of the content.

It's almost the weekend, so it's time once again for the weekly PlayStation Store Update to make sure that we'll have something to do apart from accompanying your moms and girlfriends to their last minute Christmas shoppings. Because here online, there are no long lines and no big cash to spend.

Sony's going on a break, guys. Well, it is Thanksgiving after all. But while you may miss their updates on their site, the upside is they're not leaving you empty-handed. That's right, the PlayStation Store Update comes out early today, so you can enjoy those treats sooner and you'll be busy enough to not even notice they're away. Will you guys miss us if we go on a holiday?

Speaking words of wisdom: let it be, let it be. Well, we do hope it will be - because if recent news holds out, we just might get a Beatles release for Rock Band or Guitar Hero (maybe for both games, if Lucy's diamonds shine down on us just right) - just like how Aerosmith got their own version for Guitar Hero. Back in March, ATV Music (in partnership with Sony) already expressed interest in bringing the Fab Four's music to GH. Recent accounts, however, report that a deal may finally be settled in the coming weeks.

Guitar Hero World Tour finally gets tagged with a price, as listed on GameStop, with various bundles across the platform versions. The complete band kit includes the game, the guitar peripheral, drums, and microphone.

And since it's a weekend, we've included something special for the American Idol fans: as seen in the finale, David Cook and David Archuleta are advertising for Guitar Hero... in their undies. Wait. What?!

PlayStation gamers in North America recently got their weekly fix of downloadable goodies as Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) unveiled its list of new content on the PlayStation Store. This week's PlayStation Store updates include a lot of added game content for Hot Shots Golf, American Idol Encore, Rocketmen, as well as another regular update for Rock Band. PSP users get a treat from the PS store PC too: the free game demo for Secret Agent Clank! Check out the complete list of new downloadable content in our full article.

Aside from Rub'a'Dub being revealed during the D.I.C.E. Summit, Phil Harrison gave two other interesting points that a couple of you might have either been eagerly waiting or hoping for.

  

Loco Roco sequel already in the works
Last December, it was reported that a sequel for the bouncy, blobby game of Loco Roco would be getting a sequel. Today, we get confirmation that it's already in the works - so much so now that even Phil Harrison himself was already able to play an early version of it "on the way" to the Summit. Unfortunately, he didn't reveal much and no release date was revealed.

Singstar this Spring
It's not only the Loco Roco blobs that'll be singing under the rays of a smiling sun. Phil gave a demo of the Singstar, which will be released this spring. The singing-sim will allow you to download songs via the PlayStation Network and you'd even be able to upload your own videos (taken from a USB camera) of yourself singing so that other users could rate it.

Although the latest season of "American Idol" is well underway now, who says you can't do your own singing on your Sony device? Whether you've got a PSP or PS3, expect some vocal chords to try your patience this year, whether from squeaky-sounding blobs or tone-deaf siblings. And this time, there's no Simon Cowell to save your soul.
