Huge week for the PS3. For starters, firmware 3.10 is now live, spamming Facebook news feeds everywhere with Trophy information and a few PSN "purchases" whether they were paid for or for free. Sony also had the floor at the Media Investor Conference, where they revealed that they're planning to upgrade PS3s for full 3D support in 2010, as well as a future revenue stream from "PSN subscriptions." To top it all of - rumor erupts that Sony might be bringing Firefox into PS3s, which could solve the browser problem for Slim owners. Atlus has released a launch trailer for 3D Dot Game Heroes, From Software's digital ode to old-school 8-bit gaming. Check it out and get to know the Kingdom of Dotnia, where people are still getting used to the concept of existing in 3D.

Just because Demon's Souls is a veritable test of skill, doesn't mean you should be taking on those evil nasties without your trusty strategy guide. It appears some of the strategy guides included in the game's deluxe edition is prone to “unusual cover ink/wear fading. Atlus is now offering to replace affected copies, so you'll have nothing else to blame for your lack of mad skills.
