Canadian PS3 owners are reporting problems with the PS3 version of Fallout 3's Game of the Year edition. Apparently, there's a bug keeping the GotY edition from recognizing their original Fallout 3 save files.

Thanks to tipster Calvarez44, we received word that the much-awaited Broken Steel DLC for the PS3 version of Bethesda's Fallout 3 is now up and about on the PSN. Have you checked in lately?

The tentative release date of Fallout 3's Game of the Year edition has just been solidified thanks to an announcement from Bethesda confirming the October 13 release date. The price points mentioned last month have also been confirmed. That's US$ 59.99 for PS3 and Xbox 360 versions and US$ 49.99 for the PC version. Of special interest to PS3 gamers are the announced release dates for the Fallout 3 DLC. Details after the jump.

It just might be possible that Bethesda will release Fallout 3's PS3 DLC sooner than "the end of September." Operative words: just might. A couple of Kotaku tipsters caught and compared trophies screen pics, apparently showing trophies pegged to the expansions.

With summer about to end, it's nice to know that we're getting more company for the Fall as big game titles start to emerge. Topping the list this week are two big titles, each for consoles and for the PSP handheld. Batman: Arkham Asylum is set to grace North American PS3s and Xbox 360s, while Dissidia: Final Fantasy is weaving its magic on the PSP -- both on the same day, Tuesday. At the QuakeCon 2009, Bethesda's Todd Howard gave a surprising (?) announcement that there is no Elder Scrolls V in development. "Currently," at least.

The second DLC pack for Fallout 3 has been confirmed by Bethesda to be released in retail come August 25th, 2009. The said retail pack will feature Broken Steel and Point Lookout for both the Xbox 360 and PC. More details after the jump.

Bethesda has listed down the titles it'll be bringing to this month's GamesCom event in Cologne. Included in the Bethesda lineup are Splash Damage's Brink and Artificial Mind and Movement's Wet. Details after the jump.
