Whew!  It is not true that Electronic Arts (EA) is banning gamers from playing their games if they  get banned from the forums, as one moderator threatened players with. EA's official statement on the matter can be found at the full article.

BioWare has stated before that Dragon Age Origins will eventually see a console release, and today lead designer Brent Knowles finally gave a release window: after the PC version. Yeah, it's really vague, especially when you consider that the PC version of Dragon Age Origins is still only scheduled for release sometime in early 2009. Still, it's something for fans who are worrying if their gaming rigs can handle the PC version. More from Knowles after the jump.

Hot off EA CEO John Riccitiello's announcement of a new Need For Speed game, some less exciting revelations were dropped. The publisher revealed that two of their premiere titles won't be coming out until early 2009. The games in question are BioWare's Dragon Age and Pandemic's Saboteur. More details after the jump.

The move to sack a hefty number of employees may be coming back to haunt publisher LucasArts. There's been word that a disgruntled employee who lost his job is out for a little payback. Information about future releases have allegedly been leaked. Know more in the full article up next.

Last week's game releases introduced a lot of fun games, such as Dr. Mario DX and Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness. This week, however, is the week for game ports, with Mac getting its own conversion of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (PC, PS3, Xbox 360), the Nintendo DS getting the arcade classic Super Dodgeball Brawlers, and many others.

The BioWare CEO, Ray Muzyaka, was recently interviewed regarding the Mass Effect (PC, Xbox 360). Eyebrows were raised when word of Electronic Arts filing for a loan to support its campaign to acquire Take-Two Interactive broke out.
