Error! Error! Error! - Image 1A few days ago, we reported about a PS3 listing for Mass Effect 2 (Xbox 360PC) spotted on both an Australian online retailer and Electronic Arts' Russian website. BioWare wasn't too forthcoming about the listing, but EA is being a bit more talkative. Problem is, what they're saying doesn't bode well for those who got super excited.

Mass Effect 2 - Image 1Retailers have been listing Mass Effect 2 (Xbox 360 and PC) for the PS3 the past couple of days. First, after a long while of quiet and calm, Australian retailer GAME broke the peace by listing the said game for Sony's console. A day later, the same thing came up on a Russian retailer's site. So what does BioWare have to say about all of this?

Mass Effect 2 - Image 1This is just one persistent rumor. We've been hearing of this on and off for the past year now, and despite the (incomplete) denials, it keeps on resurfacing. This time though, it's getting a leg up with the help of Australian major retailer GAME. They have listed Mass Effect 2 (Xbox 360 and PC) for the PlayStation 3 as well.

Dragon Age: Origins - Image 1There has been a lot of talk about sexual content in video video games lately. There's the nudity in The Witcher, BioWare's take on sex scenes, and Obsidian's defense of the Alpha Protocol sex scenes. The latest sexytime news comes out of a synopsis posted by the ESRB as they reviewed the sexual content found in yet another BioWare title, Dragon Age: Origins (PS3, PC, Xbox 360). Article may not be suited for minors.

Alpha Protocol - Image 1 Developer Obsidian has said that while the upcoming action-RPG Alpha Protocol (Xbox 360, PS3, and PC) does indeed have some naughty bits (read: sex) in it, all of the scenes are both satisfying and tasteful. Also, similar to the one in BioWare's Mass Effect, there will be no gameplay involved in the game's sex scenes. No full-frontal nudity either.

BioWare Corp. - Image 1Greg Zeschuk of BioWare takes the side of Sony on the issue of Activision's "threat" of discontinuing support for the PlayStation brand if the hardware manufacturer does not yield and give a price cut for the PS3. "Silly," was how he described this threat to be in an interview with CVG.
