Like Castle Crashers, Jonathan Blow's poignantly beautiful platformer Braid made waves when it hit the Xbox Live Arcade last year. Again just like Castle Crashers, it's now heading to the Sony PlayStation 3 console.

Four games dominated the bulk of the hot gaming news that hit the PS3 blog this week -- Uncharted 2, God of War III, LittleBigPlanet, and Killzone 2. The latter two have already been out for a while now but thanks to continued support from their respective developers, PS3 gamers have been getting a steady supply of new content post-launch. As for the first two titles, well, if you're a PS3 owner and you haven't heard of them yet then you really should try and look for another place to live in. I hear sleeping under rocks isn't good for your health.

In case you missed our earlier report, The Behemoth's colorful co-op hack-and-slash title Castle Crashers is indeed coming to the PS3. The game's a huge hit on Xbox 360, but for those who have yet to be exposed to the frenzy, here's a crash course straight from the devs.

The Behemoth's bestselling XBLA beat 'em up sidescroller, Castle Crashers, has been confirmed to be in development for the PS3. The game has already won numerous accolades and has racked up over a million downloads since its release last year. More details and a video past the jump.

The nominations are in, the tallying's over, and the GDC 09 Developers' Choice Awards have come and gone. The big winners this year were Fallout 3, which got the Game of the Year award, and LittleBigPlanet, which won in 4 different categories. The tail-end of the awards ceremony even had a little surprise in the form of a trailer for one of the most highly-anticipated sequels in recent years. Details after the jump!
