Pitted against each other are the movie prod's claim that the Street Fighter movie will be coming out on March 2009 in a simultaneous launch with the SFIV (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC) games. Ono-san, however, says he does not know of any simultaneous release. Confused much? Yeah, we are too. Good thing he also talks about parrying and a lot of other things.

Media Molecule is getting closer and closer to releasing its very promising creation LittleBigPlanet exclusively for the Sony PlayStation 3 this October.  The devs believe their title has the potential to be a big console seller, but they say the challenge is in making people aware of the product. We all know that Ubisoft and Jordan Mechner have been working on a new Prince of Persia video game for the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. Well, apparently that's not the only thing Mechner's been busy with. At this year's San Diego Comic-con he revealed that he is currently working on a follow-up to Karateka. Four new characters have been announced for Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3), two from each side, and they should bring in some interesting play mechanics that ought to spice things up.

Time for some international pwnage. In a press release, Konami's announced that they'll be holding a Metal Gear Online World Championship 2008 event for this summer. Nice. Marvel fans might want to rejoice this week. Following Ultimate Avengers, Ultimate Avengers 2, and The Invincible Iron Man, the fourth installment in Lionsgate Films' feature-length animated movies is to be released in the form of Doctor Strange. The movie was premiered during the Comic-Con, and now it's going straight to Blu-ray.

Meanwhile, Luke Wilson and Kate Beckinsale find themselves living out a slasher movie ordeal - stuck in a hostel and trying to survive the night through...

All four movies this week are scheduled to come out on August 14.
