This we credit to QJ.NET Forums moderator FreePlay for pointing out while I drowned in DirectX dreams. It appears that Alek and Mathieulh, reputable personalities of the PSP homebrew scene, have figured out how backup games can be run on the PlayStation 3. And since the new development restarted the whispers of PS3 ISO loaders and what-have-yous five hours ago, moderator FreePlay managed to figure out how it could be accomplished.

QuickJump QuickPeek 57 is here with all the nitty-gritty news from last week. A rumored new model for the PSP (which I'd playfully dub as the PSP Slim & Probably-Case-Modded Lite - who knows?), some talk of PS3 Trophies, new XBL content, improving the Wii Friend Code system, and well, dead penguins. *teardrops* Oh, right! And our Comment of the Week section also took quite a toll - ha!, talk about waxing rhetorics dialogues...

It's another week - another time to recap all of the happy Weekend Warriors right before we jump into all the E3 updates (which are actually already slowly picking up now!). Take a gander... some of you may have only seen your preferred blog's Warrior, but now, it might pay to see how everything went for everyone else in the community.

Remember our previous report about a debug firmware being loaded on a retail PlayStation 3? Alek, the webmaster for the Dark Alex site, has posted a Q&A discussion regarding this matter. During the course of the discussion, Alek hinted at the possibility of running CFW m33 on the PS3. More on this in the full article.

Y'know how notorious the gaming community could get during this time of the year. But in between rumors and Metal Creed Solid gags, this here QuickPeek 41 is one heck of a colossus. Dark AleX is back, Jade Raymond makes a cameo, and Niko Bellic's got quite a lot of action cut out for him in GTA 4. Mind the Whoopie cushions! Wohoo!
