Hungry for more Gran Turismo 5? Polyphony Digital rolled these features out on their website a while back, but now they've taken it down. Why? They have their reasons, but pulling it down didn't stop GTPlanet from getting the whole thing. Those leaked images that everyone thought were fake have finally been vindicated with Sony's announcement of the PS3 Slim at GamesCom just about an hour ago. Now we've come across a few official images of the new PS3 model as well as a video of SCEA president Jack Tretton showing off the Slim. And finally we have a date set. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has finally unveiled the launch date of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete on the Blu-ray. The said launch will be happening on the 7th of June. Now that's definitely a cool way to kick off the summer, don't you think?

They may be closing their PlayStation outlet in the Metreon Center in San Francisco, but Sony is still pushing forward to promote its brands.
