In his interview with Eurogamer, Epic Games' Mark Rein talks about the many sides of the industry - from game development, consumer status quo, all the way to publisher strategies. Many interesting points were brought up, but one of the more notable bits of info gathered is his take on the PS3 price cut talk. Mark Rein reckons that with Sony's financial difficulties this year, a price cut was out of the question.

We've already seen various example of successful shooters that integrated RPG elements into the gameplay such as BioShock (PS3, Xbox 360, PC). Cliff Bleszinski thinks this isn't just a passing thing. He believes that RPGs are the future of first-person shooters.

Here's a quick heads up for the Unreal Tournament 3 fans out there. Epic Games' Steve Polge has confirmed that the Titan Pack will indeed land tomorrow on the PlayStation Store at the whopping price of US$ 0. Yep, it's gonna be free.

The Titan Patch for the PS3 version of Unreal Tournament 3 is now live... sorta. At least, part of it is. Some of the updates like the Titan mutator and new maps will be coming as a separate DLC, but at least we get Trophy support.

Bad news from the Unreal Tournament III front. Epic Games has announced that the Titan DLC and patch for the game's PS3 version won't be going live tomorrow as planned. Instead, the release has been pushed back two weeks due to issues that came up during the certification process.
